It’s important that you notify us of your new number plate so that your car is logged on the Motor Insurance Database which is used by certain statutory and/or authorised bodies including the police, the DVLA, the DVANI and the Insurance Fraud Bureau. If your vehicle registration number is not correctly shown on the MID, you are at risk of having your car seized by the police.
