The policy change fee applies anytime you make a change to your policy by calling our customer service team. This includes changing your vehicle, amending your mileage, changing your cover type, updating your personal details and any other changes to your policy.
How much is the fee?
The fee is £25. However, if you make changes using your online account, there is no charge.
Why do you charge this fee?
This fee covers the admin costs involved when one of our customer service agents process a change over the phone. However, many policy changes can be made using your online iGO4 account, and any changes made through this won’t incur the fee. The following changes can all be made via the online portal:
- Personal and contact details
- Amend your occupation
- Change your address
- Add a driver to your policy including claims and convictions
- Amend an additional driver’s details
- Amend your insurance cover and usage of your vehicle
- Change your vehicle
- Change your password
