How do I make a windscreen claim?

Please note that windscreen cover only applies if you hold comprehensive car insurance, under which we will provide cover for repair or replacement of damaged glass in your windscreen, windows or sunroof.

To make a Windscreen claim, please call our Customer Claim Line on 0333 241 9566.

Please note:

  • An excess applies if the glass is replaced.
  • If you choose not to use the approved glass repairer, cover may be limited and you may be asked to pay an increase excess. Please refer to your policy schedule for details.

You also won’t be covered for roof panels or winding mechanisms.

What if I’ve purchased your optional extra windscreen product?

If you’ve purchased our optional extra windscreen product, you will be covered for up to three claims per year, with an excess of £60 for a replacement and no excess to pay for repairs. Please note, this differs from our standard windscreen cover. If you have this cover and wish to make a claim, please call 0800 169 4677.
